What is
Creative Table?

Creative Table is a curatorial award project for outstanding web design from the German-speaking world and beyond. New submissions are reviewed daily and the best work is added to the index.

The project is aimed at designers, developers and agencies who deliver web work at a level that goes beyond the ordinary — in concept, execution, or both.

Criteria: There is no fixed checklist. We look for websites that surprise in some way — through motion, typography, concept, interaction or clarity.

Submit: Any website can be nominated via the submission form. Self-submissions are explicitly welcome.

Where Creative Table comes from

Creative Table isn't my first attempt. In October 2000 I founded Holominds.com — an online design magazine that had a following in the German web design community. Daily links, a weekly Site of the Week with analysis and ratings, a newsletter, forums. I started the project; over time, several designers were involved.

Creative Table is the direct continuation of that idea — leaner, sharper in focus, without the forum and without an editorial team. The impulse is the same: make good web design visible.
